Lena and I met a couple of years ago when I taught a five-week Introduction to Perfume course in her lovely upstairs studio. Since then, we've discovered we have many friends in common, many of them also designers in our little borough of Brooklyn. I gave my sister a copy of Lena's Maps book. It was a huge hit.
