Cara is one of the few friends I have who is a New York City native - a Queens girl to be exact. We met through mutual friends and became close two summers ago when we decided that we would spend one day every single weekend of the summer on the beach at Fort Tilden. A dancer by training, I always look forward to her performances (yes, I might secretly want to be a dancer).

When did you first start wearing perfume? What fragrance was it?: When I was young, I used to pull all of the perfume sample pages out of fashion magazines, smell them one by one and pick my favorite just for fun. I started wearing perfume when I got a Christmas present of four perfumes in one carrying case: vanilla, lemon, jasmine and I can't remember the fourth one but its cap was blue. The first I ever bought myself as a teen was Sunflower by Elizabeth Arden.
If you were a plant, what would you be?: A morning glory.
What’s in your refrigerator right now?: A lot. Leafy greens, sprouts, dark chocolate, butter, mushrooms, corn, miso , and hummus to name a few.
