Springtime in New Mexico

Several weeks ago we had the pleasure of visiting New Mexico. We spent three nights in Santa Fe followed by two nights at Ojo Caliente at the site of the oldest health club in America. What this really means is that there is a very cozy hotel built around natural outdoor hot springs.

We rented a Tesla for the trip. Also a treat! Five days driving a Tesla completely convinced me that we need to move toward electric vehicles.

What really struck me about the region was, of course, the natural beauty. We visited and hiked Tent Rocks and Bandalier National Monument. We saw the breathtaking minimal home of Georgia O'Keeffe. Everywhere in the air was the scent of piñon, a kind of desert evergreen.
